Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

Me and Mad Max: Fury Road poster
Mad Max: Fury Road is a 2015 Australian post-apocalyptic action film directed, produced, and co-written by George Miller, and the fourth film of Miller's Mad Max franchise. The first film of the franchise in 30 years, Fury Road stars Tom Hardy as "Mad" Max Rockatansky, who replaces Mel Gibson in the title role, along with Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult and Hugh Keays-Byrne. . In May 2015, Miller told Wired magazine, "Should Mad Max: Fury Road be successful, I've got two other stories to tell." Later in May, Miller revealed that plans for the sequel had changed and the working title for the next installment will be Mad Max: The Wasteland.

In a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, two rebels just might be able to restore order: Max, a man of action and of few words, and Furiosa, a woman of action who is looking to make it back to her childhood homeland.
freddy's score of 80-100 mind=blown
beatiful wasteland
Got hooked at the 1st image appearing on screen.
MASTERPIECE. George Miller is the owner of the post-apocalyptic genre, the supreme authority. The characters on this film are absolutely amazing, I specially loved the 3 boss villains and war boy Nux. You have HUGH KEAYS-BYRNE (TOECUTTER - MAD MAX 1) playing another mad villain! This could only work out right. Tom Hardy was very well chosen, he got all of Rockatansky's gimmicks perfectly. I just felt like he could have looked a little older. Then there's Charlize's eyes, smudged forehead and artificial arm, who are just perfect. When she drops her arm and starts walking on that windy desert, oh man, that was visually RICH! I usually don't like females being bad ass on screen, their actions always look fake as hell, but every women on this movie KICKED ASS! There's even a moment where a chill came up my spine, that's when Valkyrie shoots a guy on her bike, really powerful image, TRUE AMAZON.

mad max warrior ladies
That's Valkyrie at the center, powerful woman.
Story wise dudes, it's just a chase on the orange and night blue post-apocalyptic road, and that's juuuuuust fine. All the action mayhem and stunts happening trough out that chase are very original and they weren't extremely graphic, which is an outstanding achievement, my eyes were very happy with the large amount of dropped sugar.
There waaaaaas a moment when I was starting to feel bored, but then, a pregnant women fell of a truck and got run over! Shocking. Sorry for the spoiler.
The soundtrack is fine I loved the war drums and guitar parts BUT I didn't like that guitar player character and his vehicle, it was the only thing that I didn't like on this movie, it was way over the top for me. A flamethrower guitar it's too much.

the imortan
Hugh Keays-Byrne now is the IMORTAN!
The most special moment in which my mind JIZZED all over, was when one of the bad guys makes the TOECUTTER's threatening hiss. RRAAAHHHHHH!
Enough said. If you are a fan of the trilogy please don't be afraid, and go buy a ticket today!
