Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

Mad Max: Fury Road is a 2015 Australian post-apocalyptic action film directed, produced, and co-written by George Miller, and the fourth film of Miller's Mad Max franchise. The first film of the franchise in 30 years, Fury Road stars Tom Hardy as "Mad" Max Rockatansky, who replaces Mel Gibson in the title role, along with Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult and Hugh Keays-Byrne. . In May 2015, Miller told Wired magazine, "Should Mad Max: Fury Road be successful, I've got two other stories to tell." Lore (2012)

Lore is a 2012 Australian-German film written by Robin Mukherjee, co-written and directed by Cate Shortland and funded by the UK Film Council. It stars Saskia Rosendahl, Kai Malina, Nele Trebs and Ursina Lardi. The film had its Australian premiere at the 2012 Sydney Film Festival. Lore received the Feature Film Production of the Year Award at the 2013 Screen Producers Australia Awards. Lore also received the bronze award for Outstanding Feature Film at the German Film Awards. Lore has also received 17 other awards internationally. Mary and Max is a 2009 Australian clay-animated black comedy-drama film written and directed by Adam Elliot and produced by Melanie Coombs. The voice cast included Philip Seymour Hoffman, Toni Collette, Eric Bana, Bethany Whitmore, with narration by Barry Humphries. According to the opening credits, the film is based on a true story. In an interview given in April 2009, writer-director Elliot clarified that the character of Max was inspired by "a pen-friend in New York who I've been writing to for over twenty years. The film was co-written and directed by Baz Luhrmann, and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton, and Elizabeth Debicki.
