The Sacrament is a 2013 American found footage horror thriller film directed by Ti West. The cast includes: Joe Swanberg, Amy Seimetz, AJ Bowen and Gene Jones. The movie had its world premiere on September 3, 2013 at the Venice Film Festival. The movie's plot takes several elements from real life events such as the Jonestown Massacre of 1978. MovieRehab called it "one of the darkest portrayals of humanity ever put to screen. According to the film commentary, in the originally conceived ending, the helicopter pilot was not shot. Once the helicopter got to altitude, the pilot proclaimed "We must follow Father's orders" and crashed the helicopter, killing everyone on board.
A newsteam trails a man as he travels to an undisclosed location to find his missing sister. Upon entering "Eden Parish" and meeting the community's leader, it becomes apparent to the newcomers that this paradise may not be as it seems.

I like this "Jim Jones" character, very sinister.
Up here, the scene that I would definitely remove from the movie.
This helicopter guy is the most trustworthy, patient and nice human being that has ever come to existence.
