Tom at the Farm (2013)

Tom at the Farm is a 2013 Canadian psychological thriller film directed by and starring Xavier Dolan. The film is based on the play of the same name by Michel Marc Bouchard, who co-wrote the screenplay with Dolan. It was screened in the main competition section at the 70th Venice International Film Festival in 2013, and also at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. At Venice, the film won the FIPRESCI Prize. Source Code is a 2011 American-French science fiction thriller film directed by Duncan Jones, produced by Mark Gordon, Jordan Wynn, and Philippe Rousselet, and written by Ben Ripley. It stars Jake Gyllenhaal as a U.S. Army captain who is sent into a computed reality to find a bomber; additionally starring are Michelle Monaghan, and Vera Farmiga. Plans for a television adaptation at CBS were announced shortly after the film was released. However, these plans were scrapped in December 2014 in favor of a film sequel. Coherence is an American science fiction thriller film that was directed by James Ward Byrkit, and is his first theatrical feature film. Ward Byrkit came up with the idea for Coherence after deciding that he wanted to test the idea of shooting a film "without a crew and without a script". He chose to film the movie in his own home and developed the film's science fiction aspect out of necessity, as he wanted to "make a living room feel bigger than just a living room". Phenomena (1985)

Phenomena is a 1985 Italian horror film directed by Dario Argento and starring Jennifer Connelly, Daria Nicolodi, and Donald Pleasence. After its release in Italy, Phenomena was purchased for distribution in the United States by New Line Cinema, who cut over twenty minutes from the film and released it under the title Creepers. The film features a score by Goblin, as well as a multitude of heavy metal songs on its soundtrack. The film was inspired to Dario Argento after he learned that insects are sometimes used during murder investigations. Jennifer Connelly had part of her finger bitten off by the chimpanzee in the final scene at the end of the film. Suspiria is a 1977 Italian horror film directed by Dario Argento, co-written by Argento and Daria Nicolodi, and co-produced by Claudio and Salvatore Argento. The film stars Jessica Harper and also features Stefania Casini, Flavio Bucci, Miguel Bosè, Alida Valli, Udo Kier, and Joan Bennett in her final film role. Suspiria has become one of Argento's most successful feature films, receiving critical acclaim for its visual and stylistic flair, use of vibrant colors, and its soundtrack. The woman playing Helna Markos is not credited.
